Greenhorn Creek Guest Ranch is a cozy, western style ranch with the right facilities and amenities to make your vacation comfortable, fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. Here’s what you’ll find when you stay with us…
Chuck House
Located across from the main lodge, and adjacent to the saloon is our Chuck House. Except when you’re eating on the trail or at our outdoor barbecue area, you’ll enjoy your meals here. Meals are served family style, and you’ll be dining with staff & wranglers. The menu varies daily, and we include a salad bar and kid-friendly menu.
Special dietary needs? No need to worry about that! We can accommodate most dietary requirements/needs/preferences including but not limited to vegetarians, vegans, glucose and lactose free, just tell us what you prefer and we'll do everything we can to make your tummy happy!
Main Lodge
Two-story lodge has our office/guest check-in, 10 rooms, large fireplace for warming up on chilly mornings, public computer, small library, our gift shop, and an upstairs balcony for sittin’ and relaxing. |
Cabins
Nestled in the tall pines are 16 cabins, all within yards of the Chuck House, Saloon, Main Lodge, and stables. We have eight 2-bedroom cabins and eight 1-bedroom cabins. |
Gift Shop
We have a small gift shop in the main lodge open from sun up to sun down. If you need it we probably have it, including an assortment of shirts, T-shirts, sweatshirts, bandanas, hats, sunscreen, sundries, fishin’ stuff, laundry soap, souvenirs, and more. |
Guest Computer & Wireless Environment
In the main lodge we have a public computer for guest use with high-speed wireless on an open network for use on your laptop. |
Outdoor BBQ and Picnic Areas
There’s plenty of outdoor cookin’ and eatin’ at Greenhorn. We have a large outdoor BBQ and picnic area overlooking the upper pond. |
Campfire
Next to our picnic area is a large campfire area. Expect to be roastin' marshmallows, singin' and enjoyin' the campfire when you come visit us. Bring your instruments for a hootin and hollerin good time! |
Saloon and Dance Hall
Across from the chuck house is our saloon and dance hall. In the saloon you can purchase beer and wine, as well as a large selection of hard liquor and signature drinks in the afternoon and evening, along with sodas and ice cream for the kids. This is also where we hold many of our evening events like line dancing, poker, karaoke, and parties.

Game Room
We have a game room for the kids with pool tables, ping pong table, video/arcade games, two card tables and more. The game room is located in the saloon.

 Kiddie Corral
For children ages infant-5 we provide a Kiddie coral program with games, pony rides, arts and crafts, and other activities - even a petting zoo. This gives parents with small children the opportunity to ride during the day. |
Fishing Ponds
.jpg) There are two full stocked ponds for fishing. The upper pond is the most poplar, and picturesque and just a few feet from the cabins and picnic area. There’s trout fishin’ (and frog catchin’ for the frog races!). While we encourage a catch and release program, If you catch a fish and want to eat it, just bring it over to the chuck house and we’ll cook it up for you (fee's apply). There’s also a place where you can dig for worms. Plus, if you forget your fishin’ pole we have a plenty of extras you can borrow. |
Rodeo Arena
The rodeo arena and stables are where you’ll meet up with the wranglers before every ride. The arena is where we give short group lessons before each ride, and where we hold our amazing rodeo games. We also have a round pen for working with the horses. If you need a little help from your wranglers to get acquainted with your horse, the round pen offers a nice bit of privacy. |
Outdoor Games, Activities and Adventures
Out on the main lawn we have two horseshoe pits for tossing horseshoes. We also set up a volleyball net for a rousing game of Guests versus Wranglers, or a round of badminton.
New this year we also offer a disc golf course through the forest along the creek!

 Heated Swimming Pool
Heated Pool is right next to the saloon and is heated and refreshing! There are plenty of lounge chairs for nappin’ and sunnin', plus the saloon is right there if you want a “cold one”.

Baby Sitting
We can arrange for baby sitting with a local sitting service. Just let us know and we can make arrangements for you (fee extra). |
Guest Laundry
There is a guest laundry available for use. Laundry soap can be purchased in the gift shop. Check with the front desk in the main lodge for hours of operation.
